In my opinion, religion is the vehicle in which a person arrives towards spirituality. Everything acts as a catalyst. I believe that religion serves a purpose for those who are on a spiritual quest, and need to believe in something bigger than themselves in the midst of getting to know thyself. I will never talk down on anyone’s process. Belief systems give people hope. Belief systems give guidance in times of need. There are a lot of people who didn’t commit suicide, give up, or give into morally corrupt things because of what they believe. Therefore, these reasons alone, religion can play an important role in one’s life.

Most individuals usually build off of the religion of their parents. The religion that was present within their household. However, others set off on a quest of their own to find their own truth. I say pray about it, meditate on it, and always follow your inner GPS, it’ll never lead you wrong.
