Today, I wanna talk about relationships and the role gender play. In todays society, gender says men should be a specific way; as well as women. However, what if we’ve all been trying to fill roles according to what society says, and not according to our makeup. Energetically, naturally, if you are made up of more masculine energy, your going to be more of a doer, initiator, and provider. If your made up of more feminine energy, your going to be more nurturing, docile, and submissive. I honestly believe that a lot of misunderstandings in relationships come from couples not understanding who plays which role.
In Metaphysics:
Astrologically speakin, the masculine signs are.. libra, Gemini, Aquarius, Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. The feminine signs are.. Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn, Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. In astrology, being more masculine or feminine is not so much about physical gender than it is about how one expresses one’s self, and go about life. Now there are some signs such as Scorpio(ruled by Pluto & Mars) that even though it’s a feminine water sign can also act very masculine. The masculinity comes from the ruling planets and what they represent. The sign Libra, another masculine sign; yet it’s ruler is Venus. This makes Libra’s more of a masculine/feminine sign.
Relationships, Home life, and Work:
In my opinion, these are the areas where the confusion comes into play. If your a lot like me. I grew up with strong earth and fire energy. My grandfather was a very manly man, worked with his hands, took initiative, and got things done. He’s a Virgo sun. He felt like men aren’t men if their not handy or know how to fix cars. Welllllllll they don’t make men old skool like that anymore, times change. Moving forward, I always wanted a man with values like my grandfather. However, I also have predominately masculine energy some of which consist of libra. In relationships balance is important to me. However, I also have relationship karma so that 50/50 I was seeking ain’t never been out there to be found, keeping it real.
Moral of the story:
We can only be who we are. If your predominately masculine you’ll more than likely attract feminine energy, and vice versa. This fact regardless of physical gender can be unnerving. Therefore, if your expecting your feminine man to fix things around the house and all this macho stuff it ain’t happening. Do what works for y’all, not what society says!
