Today I would love to add to our Intentional living serious by discussing how to work with water. When many think of rituals they think fire, the moon, or crystals. However, I want to take a closer look at working with water to help you be intentional in your daily life. In my post last week, we discussed the importance of being intentional and how it helps us in all aspects of our lives. Being intentional keeps us in alignment with ourselves, brings clarity, helps us build and maintain routine in our lives and overall improves our way of life. Water is such a magical property that I truly donβt feel gets enough credit.
There are a few fun facts that you should know about water that will help amplify the power of any intentional or ritual work you are participating in. Water rules over the zodiac signs of Cancer, Pisces, and Scorpio. It also rules over the planets Mercury, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn. With these options there is a wide range of energy you can use in water work. Water can be used for healing, purification, protection, increasing psychic abilities, work on your emotions, spirituality, and inner strength. These are only a few of the intentions that water can be used for.
Today I want to speak about enchanting the water we use daily. With us working on being intentional in everything we do I challenge you to join me in using things we use daily to help us manifest our desires. We encounter water one way or another every day of our lives. When we brush our teeth, wash our faces and bodies, when we drink our 8 cups a day lol just to name a few.
4 ways to be more Intentional with water
1. Enchanting drinking water may be my favorite way to exercise intentional living. Speaking over my drinking water has proven to be very powerful me especially on days that are extremely busy or stressful for me. You can enchant your water by speaking affirmations into your water, telling the water what you need help with for the day, or using the water as a tool to visualize the day you desire to have. I prefer to speak affirmations into my water but have used all 3 techniques.
2. Bath time rituals can serve as both a time to set your intentions and a time meditation for the day. You can use you baths and shower as a time to cleanse not only your body but the energy of the day. Cleanse yourself of any negativity, limiting beliefs, you may be holding onto. Cleansing with water has been a form of purifying and purging for centuries. Using water as a tool to remove energies and feeling of doubts helps clear your energy and make room for any affirmations and intentions you desire to manifest. After cleansing yourself speaking affirmations or meditating in the water can help lighten your mood and boost your confidence.
3. Moon water can be used during manifestation rituals. Placing water inside of a container (I prefer glass) and setting it out under the moon is a great way to incorporate water into your moon rituals. Depending on the zodiac sign of the moon at the time you can set your intentions to manifest using the energy of that zodiac sign. The moon is yin energy so the water should be enchanted to make you more receptive of the intentions you are setting.
4. Sun water can be used during manifestation rituals also. You can use the same technique as the moon water except you place your water in the Sun. The Sun is yang energy so you will enchant this water to make you more action-oriented. Use Sun water when you are trying to take more initiative to make things happen in your life.
Let us know what way you incorporate water into your daily lives. If you havenβt used water as a tool for setting intentions in your life, which of these techniques above are you willing to try? Write in we would love to hear from you.
