Taurus

Taurus Children are earth signs and quite the little foodies w/ a major sweet tooth so be mindful of their maturing teeth and watch out for cavities. They enjoy affection at their own request. They can be turned off by excessive “mushy” stuff. So stay ready and alert for their hugs and kisses. They also prefer routine so try not to shake up their day to day schedules too much. They are naturally home bodies so they prefer to be at home, with their own toys, their own snacks, and typically things that they can address as “MINE”. Ha! Don’t be alarmed this child will NOT be the “sleep over” type. These kiddos are very into textures and how things feel in their mouths, against their skin. So they may not like bananas because they are too mushy or they have a favorite blanket that they enjoy rubbing.

Cancer

Cancer Children are water signs which makes them very moody and emotional. They are prone to more crying spells and tantrums than the average child, so prepare yourself. They also enjoy eating quite a bit which makes them awesome pals with Taurus buddies. But be mindful as Cancers babies can become “emotional eaters”. They enjoy lots of hugs, kisses, nurturing, and cuddling. These kiddos are quiet, little dreamers with such the imagination! So, prepare to play lots of pretend! They usually hate the dark and don’t like to be lonely.

Gemini

Gemini Children are air signs who are very playful, energetic, and talkative! They can be moody as if they have two personalities (sane twin/crazy twin) HA! However, the mood swings will come just as quickly as they will go. They will have a lot of questions for you. Being ruled by Mercury the planet of communication, they will be quite the little talkers, so be prepared to hear “but why?” pretty often. Sitting still will be totally out of the question. But don’t be alarmed - they don’t have ADHD. They are simply a Gemini. It will be best to start your child off early with meditation, arts and crafts, or reading. Something that helps them to focus in a concentrated setting so that they can learn to quiet their minds.

Aquarius

Aquarius Children are the deepest of the air signs. These kiddos can come off as flighty loners. These children are very inquisitive and mature for their ages. They don’t mind playing by themselves and are very animated at times. Bringing their toys to life by mimicking the sounds loudly that they make. This could be loud trucks, clicking sounds to a camera, or even memorizing music and TV commercials word for word quickly! They have tons of questions but they enjoy the freedom of teaching themselves opposed to asking mommy and daddy for help. This is the child that will acquire a long list of pet peeves that they will expect the entire family to abstain from doing! Trust me these kiddos get more and more interesting with age! 

Pisces

Pisces Children are unique little water signs. They are quite the daydreamers! Thus, many people view these kiddos as quiet and reserved. But they are quite a deep ocean to tread! These are the children who act out their fantasies, so things like playing with doll houses, kitchen sets, grocery store, and dress up are all awesome past times for them. They like to create a fantasy world around them which makes them awesome buddies with Cancer babies. Pisces children will always enjoy getting lost in other realms. They are the only water sign that doesn’t want to come up for air. It will be hard to get your Piscean baby to focus on things that they don’t enjoy so try to make the lessons fun. Movies are a great form of stress relief for them I.E Willy Wonka (the original), Alice in Wonderland, Little Monsters and The Labyrinth anything that consist of going to another realm. Lastly, NURTURE their music abilities.

Capricorn

Capricorn Children HA! Earth signs, but can someone say here comes the BOSS! You will probably feel like you are more of the child and that your little Cappy baby is the parent. These children are very bright and intelligent! Typically the grade A student! You will not have to fuss at them about acting appropriately at school because they will WOW you! They may be more concerned about telling other peers about how they should be acting! HA! Intellectual things interest them. Everything from reading, writing, and learning in general. These kiddos def have the “Benjamin Button” syndrome: Old Souls in Children’s Bodies! They mature very quickly and are excellent role models.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius Children Wow! Fiery little balls of fire signs! They are very talkative energetic, playful, deep thinkers, adventurous, and maybe even a bit mischievous. They are rather sharp and catch on quickly but need to be focused long enough to apply the vast amount of knowledge that they acquire. Behavioral issues can be misinterpreted for boredom. Reward them with lots of physical activities and try to keep a balance between mental stimulation and physical stimulation. A host of physical activities will help to disburse that rambunctious energy!

Scorpio

Scorpio Children Here’s another water sign that is emotional, reserved, and a bit nervous at times. This isn’t your risk-taking, outspoken, bubbly child. They will have to really get to know someone before they open up fully. So it may take them a bit to make friends. They have a love mystical things and will have a curiosity with fantasy, sci-fi, witches, ghouls, goblins, supernatural, simply all thing mysterious. Little Scorpios love diaries. But DON’T violate their space by reading it! Develop healthy communication because if you lose their trust it’s hard to regain. Nurture their natural abilities and gifts. Always keep the criticism constructive as these kiddos are super sensitive!

Leo

Leo Children Well hello there, big mouth! These lions are loud, vibrant, dramatic, and will def let you know when they are pissed off with lots of loud roars or screams. But when all is well in this little Leo’s world they will be loving, happy, bubbly, playful, full of laughter, and great performers. They don’t like being alone and love family gatherings. The more people the merrier they are. As they began to talk and develop their personality you may notice that they can be a bit exaggerative. I.E. Mom, hurry there’s a huuuuuuuuge bug in my room and once you arrive it’s a tiny ladybug HAHA! They enjoy the spotlight so prepare for a child who will desire to be in every social activity their school or community may offer!

Aries

Aries Children Lively little fire signs! Here come your runners, jumpers, climbers, and all things active, athletic, and exciting. They love to laugh and may be quite the little prankster or class clown making Gemini’s awesome buddies. They will be very helpful around the house and make great older siblings or leaders. They learn quickly and prefer to implement their skills and talents almost as soon as they learn them. They are attention seekers but not as much as their fellow fire signs Sagittarius and Leo. These are very curious and adventurous little rams and they won’t stop until they have had enough! They are always full of new ideas so be sure to listen to them and show interest because this fuels their brewing ideas. Nurture their building and inventive abilities.

Virgo

Virgo Children Here comes a nervous, meticulous, and picky little kiddo! They are very calm and eccentric and make great household helpers. They aim to please their parents and this will continue to develop as they grow. So encourage this little one to have their own thoughts and express their own identity. They can be trendsetters with their own little funky styles. Some will think that they are wacky, but MOST will end up admiring their courage and imitating their style. They are very neat, clean, and orderly. Especially with their appearance and can be a bit vain. On the downside they are super picky/particular and can be a bit of a perfectionist. Getting hung up on tiny details that are life threatening. Meditation or some sort of physical outlet is key early as they tend to be anxiety-stricken children. Encourage them not to nitpick or bite their nails.

Libra

Libra Children Special little air creatures. They will probably dance or play an instrument before they say their first word, HA! They have a very early love of music because it soothes them. Don’t limit them as they appreciate all genres. Libras are also about balance. All things must be in order. Never give them odd numbers of items - they hate that! They also prefer to make sure others are being balance. So they can be little tattle tales HA! If they feel peers aren’t being balanced. These are also the most indecisive kiddos ever. They literally get overwhelmed with making decisions. They would much rather someone else make the choice for them. They often feel that they will regret their decision and wonder “what was the other option all about” HA! They can harp on that for long periods of time. Encourage them to trust their intuition when it comes to making decisions. Don’t lie to these kiddos they take it very personally and will call you out on it. They can also go through bouts of laziness so encourage cleanliness early.
